SUBMIT
general submissions: submit@urchicago.com

PLEASE NOTE: We DO NOT post listing submissions. The only events we promote are events we, or our friends, are actively involved in or that we are excited about.

**We currently do not run any paid advertisements or sell our e-list for promotional purposes. We only write, cover, and promote what we are passionate about, PERIOD.**

If you want to physically mail us something, please contact us by e-mail to let us know what you want to send and who it's for (see staff)! We will then hit you back with the proper address and information. We hope to prevent receiving wasteful junk mail by doing this and get useful products and information to the proper folks!

SPONSORSHIP & CONTESTS
If you are interested in having us sponsor a event (it has to be something we dig) or have tickets/passes/swag that would be cool for our readers and could be given away in a contest (on our site or through our social media), please contact Chess at chess@urchicago.com and put either "SPONSORSHIP" ot "CONTESTS" in the subject line of the e-mail.

JOIN OUR FAMILY. FREELANCE. INTERN.
UR Chicago is ALWAYS on the look out for talented writers and artists. We don't care if you went to (or are currently going to) college for writing, journalism, or art. We just require that you are PASSIONATE, have opinions, and are skilled at those crafts. We have no paid positions available at this time, but you would get to go to shows, get free music, interview artists, and showcase your work by contributing to the site. If you are an intern looking for school credit, please note that you would be working from home/online, we treat interns like freelance writers, not office lackeys.

**We are currently in need of bloggers, so come Tumblr with us!**

Prospective writers/artists/interns can send their resume and samples of their work to submit@urchicago.com and put either "FREELANCE" or "INTERN" in the subject line of the e-mail.
