He’s the only action star who can play a character participating in over-the-top, physics-defying antics without a smirk on his face or a tongue in his cheek. To me, that shows he’s a genuine fellow. Many critics can’t stand the man, but audiences have made him a huge international star. In his latest effort, Parker, he stars as the titular criminal anti-hero based on the beloved crime novel series by Richard Stark.
